About Tangago
Tangago helps African students turn the dream of studying abroad into a clear, confidently executed plan — through honest information, personal guidance, and support that doesn't stop at admission.
Tangago was born from a simple observation: many African students want to study abroad, but lack reliable information and the right support to make it happen.
After going through the entire process of studying abroad herself, our founder experienced firsthand how confusing and isolating it can be — from choosing a university, to navigating admissions and visa paperwork, to preparing for departure. That experience convinced her that better guidance could make all the difference, and it became the spark behind Tangago.
“A well-informed student is a student who makes better decisions.”
Tangago combines "Kotanga," the Lingala word for "to study," with the English word "Go" — a symbol of departure, openness to the world, and new opportunity. Together, they capture exactly what we do: accompany students on their academic journey toward the international stage.
To help African students achieve their study-abroad ambitions by giving them reliable information, personalized advice, and quality support at every step of the journey.
To become Africa's go-to platform for information, guidance, and support for students pursuing an international education — making it more accessible to everyone through innovation, transparency, and quality service.
We communicate clear, honest information — no exaggerated promises, no hidden surprises.
We hold ourselves to a professional, high-quality standard in every consultation and every piece of guidance.
We act in our students' best interest, always — with honesty and a strong sense of ethics.
We keep building modern, well-adapted tools and solutions to make studying abroad more accessible.
We stay by our students' side with genuine care and seriousness, from first contact through to life abroad.
We're starting with students headed to Germany. As we grow, we plan to extend our support to more destinations — helping even more African students study abroad with confidence.
